ok what up i have a 92 f150 4x4 351w and in the spring going to get a 6 " lift not sure what i got to do . do i have get longer drive shafts or tc drop or sye or any thing you guys think or kno of that will help is good thanks
First off what kit are you planning on using? This will tell you and us what parts will be supplied in the kit.
Then we will need to know how you plan on driving / using the truck once its lifted. If its a mall crawler then chances are low that you will have drive shaft problems. If your planning on rock climbing then yes something major needs to be done with drive shafts.. yes there is a lot of in between.
IF your planning on 35s what is your current ring and pinon?
What trans are you running.
asking like you did is like saying my truck does not run whats wrong with it?
Plus, the same topic is covered in your other thread, "restore". Just trying to help, it seems if discussions about the same thing are kept in the same thread, you'll end up with more information, in a more organized manner.
Good luck with the lift, and other work you're planning on. Post pics!
x2^^^ i suggest getting the tires and wheels mounted first and getting them in the garage, then order the kit... let us know what kit and tires you got and we can go from there... keep in mind if you are mudding the truck i'd definatly suggest getting the f350parts donor for a front sas and rear 10.25.
