Hello,I usualy hang out in the dentside forum,My friend and I are working on his 93 ranger reg cab.He wants to put 98ish up inner door panels on it with power windows and door locks.I know, look for a 93 with all that stuff.I have a very good friend who ownes a junkyard and has crushed all the older ones.He does have 20 or so of the newer ones from 98 up.My question is will the newer door panels work,is the regulater a "bolt in" swap? if we decide to keep it man windows is the crank in the same position? thanks chris
I put the panels from a 97 in my 94 a couple of years ago. Were a straight drop in. The regulators bolted in also no big deal. the mirrors also worked. Seats are from 01/02 explorer, another basic drop in, just had to extend the seatbelt arm. Center consol from a 97/8 explorer ya know the one with the lift up arm rest.
Dont know about the later stuff fitting, I think they should, easiest way will be to pull 1 out and check for fit. If its a friend he may let ya try. Also he should have a book showing interchangability of stuff if he yas a yard.
