An injector install tip
Just a small tip
Even after pumping out the cylinders most instructions tell you to bar the engine over with the glow plugs out then bump it with the starter. Being as I am old, fat and lazy the 10 trips on and off the creeper to get the right socket and handle for the crank pulley tries my patiance and my body. Then standing in front of the truck I saw the alternator and the nut that holds the pulley on
. Right on top with my gut resting on the fender I cranked my engine over to make sure the cylinders were purged enough to safely bump the starter, I felt kinda smart? One way it slipped the belt but the other way turned it over and once going it went easy either way.
