Here is a picture of my new project... The truck has a built 460 and an auto trans. It was restored about 6 years ago and the guy drove it for about 6 months and then turned it on its side. I plan on posting my progress with it. Let me know what you guys think!!
Nice truck. Looks great on the good side. What year is it? Maybe tie rod was brought up because it looks like the truck might have 76/77 style front steering, that or really bent 78/79 style. lol.
I also really like those wheels!
Yeah the truck is actually a 77 with the 79 grille and lights. And the wheels are one of the reasons i bought the truck they are mickey thompson and from what can tell they dont make them any more or they are really hard to find.. Do you think $1500 for the truck was a fair price???

very nice truck for $1500 man. i agree, rims are definitely keepers. i have a shortbed myself, i love em. speakin of which, while restoring that beautiful truck, if you find yourself buying another bed, i might be interested in taking that one off your hands....
Pretty sure im just gunna put a bed skin on it. I havent beed able to find a shortbed skin so i guess ill just take and 8ft side and cut it down. From the way it looks thats what the previous owner did when he restored it
By the way does any one in the indiana kentucky area have a used drivers side Door, fender and a old cab that i can cut the whole cab corner off of. i will probally buy a aftermarket fender but i would really like to get an original door because they fit up so much better.
