Reflash??

Well the dealer is giving me the updated reflash for my 2005 F350... Anyone have any idea what I should expect from it... pros and cons.. Thanks in adavance..

I've heard extremely mixed reviews on this new flash, but, just like any other flash, I've heard the same thing time and again. No difference or reduced fuel economy/power. IMHO it all depends on the truck.

Just for grins and giggles, look at the cardone.com website and search for ford flashes to see how many there have been since 03. It's incredible.

Yeah.. I know there have been quite a few.. But wondering what the newest flash brings to the table... truck has run fine and started in -15*F without being plugged in... Did smoke and shake a bit(less than 5 seconds) on first cold start of the day... Just hope it doesn't bring any problems

A 2-3 mpg drop in fuel mileage

Wow 2-3 mph drop would not be good..I average 13-12 mph now..

I didnt have any gains or losses in mpg's. Guess all trucks act different. The turbo and egr sweep is the best thing out of it IMO.

Does any body know where to get the original strategy. I lost 4mpg after the first reprogram . .I liked getting 22 mpg on the hwy,now I am lucky to get 17
