Hey guys usually i post on this forum seeking help for my old 87 f-250 4x4 w/7.3 diesel. I just wanna say thanks a whole bunch for all your help. In particular Dave Sponaugle, Redford.and many others.
just an update.. when i got that truck last year it needed alot of help. wouldnt start without either/block heater etc.. well since i did all the stuff to it as recommended Motorcraft glow plugs, (instead of my cheap bosch plugs). a quick fix on the gp relay. and tank switching valve. That truck is used daily and its been like 10degrees around here in the morning and i asked my son the other day if hes been plugging it in at night? He has not even plugged it in and she fires right up ever single day bar none.
oh yeah i did the fuel return lines too. (there was air intrusion there).
So thanks guys I really appreciate knowing there is a place i can come to for continued diesel support.
