1971 cab mounts
Ok i have a 1971 f 350 dump i am restoring, the cab is rough, I have a chance to get a 1971 f 100 cab which is in excellent shape I have two questions the f 100 is an automatic, my f 350 is a four speed, is the transmission hump the same size, and the f 100 rear cab mounts are mounted to the crossmember under the cab approx. 24" apart where my f350 rear cab mounts are outboard mounted to brackets on the frame rails, approx 38" apart, it looks like the rear cab mounts would not be a problem, I think i would just have to drill new holes in rear of cab, Any help would be appreciated, (any thoughts number dummy) Thanks

You'll probably find two dimple marks on the floor to show where to drill. I switched cabs and the cab I used was automatic and my truck was 4 speed. The auto tranny had removable plate in center, so I just used my old one for the 4 speed.
