On my '95 Ford F-350 4x4 XLT, the heater just started acting up the other day. When I have the heater turned on full blast or even medium, it will act normal most of the time but randomly the air will turn cold for about 5 seconds then go back to being warm. It does this several times and doesn't seem to heat up the truck like it used to. Also on startup I hear a water/antifreeze running noise on the passenger side of the truck possibly behind the glove box. Not sure if this is related. Let me know what yall think I am cold up here in Ohio Thanks

 

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 01-15-03 AT 07:51 PM (EST)]Sounds like you may be low on antifreeze. Check the level in the radiator. I had a similar problem with a Ranger I had that had a pinhole leak in the radiator.
