Help with purchasing choice...

I am currently looking at getting a 2010-1011 Ford Expedition. Its between the Expedition, Armada and the Sequioa. The problem is, i don't know much about this truck. I have been a Ford and Lexus owner since forever. Currently have a F150 that would be traded in. Just don't know much about the Expy

I am looking for real world opinions on the Expedition. Ie. how it is in winter weather, real world gas mileage.. and most of all reliablity!!!

My usual habit is to keep a car about 5 years and just want something that will last and not nickle and dime me to death. Something reliable with good resale vaule. My f150 hasn't been all that stellar in reliability, but my other fords have been.

Please comment if you can, help me understand outside of the sales guy sales pitch.

Wrong forum, this is for the older models.

I think all of the rigs mentioned are good products. If you can afford a King Ranch version of the Expy it is the bomb. The Japanese can't match the luxury of that Expy. From a functional standpoint of those three I would probably go with the Nissan. I like the 5.6L V8 the best of the three even though the Sequoia has more power. Toyota is just too bland for me. I suspect the Nissan wins in fun to drive, the Toyota for all around safe blandness and the Expy offers the best luxo pack and all the utility a person can use.

I hate to say ti but in terms of bumper to bumper reliability over the long run, the Toy would be the choice.

But, if your a five year and out kinda guy, then the Ford hands down.

I would go for the Expedition EL 4x4. These trucks are spacious and pull like a champ. Their resale value is very strong and after all, how many used Expy's do you see laying around?
