Using phone while on Sync

Using phone while on Sync

When using the cell phone while connected to Sync, is there a way to mute the conversation so others in the vehicle cannot hear it? I cannot find the answer here on the Forums. Thanks!

On the phone screen of my nav it has a privacy button.

I do not have navigation.

Simply turn the phone's bluetooth off.

My HTC TouchPro 2 has a menu selection to cancel handsfree.

I have done this, I think its press "menu" and then "privacy" as I recall. Then you dont have to change the blue tooth on the phone.

^^What khogle2 said. Put it into privacy mode.

Charlie, how do you like your TouchPro2? I had one and hated it. At work we affectionately call them the POS2. I swapped it for a Droid Incredible; much better.

Brad,
I love my POS2. But I was using a Palm Treo 700WX (lots of BT issues) and my company has limited the smart phones they will support.

It's free and works great with Sync, so I'm happy.
