1996 Ford Explorer Engine Code
I have a 1996 Explorer V6 4x4, the Check Engine light has been on for some time now due to a bad bank 1 O2 sensor (PO420). I will probably change out the sensor this week, however, I have been having problems with the engine stalling. Is this related to the O2 sensor? Also, where is the Bank 1 sensor located, the only information I found was the passenger side.

I also have a 96 explorer, with the same problem, however the code is coming up stating bank 1 catalyst system. My engine light stays on and i also stall out from time to time but it fires right back up after a minute. Are you still having this problem?
