I did post this ... was that not your question?

You did Jim. I saw it earlier. Do the wipers work when the key is turned to acc? I've never tried it I don't think. If I have, then I don't remember!

And we're all just trying to help you with having only what you've typed to go off of. If you want to get your panties all up in a bunch over that, they sorry, don't know what to tell you. If you settle down and take constructive advice or questions on what you're trying to do, then stay a while. You may learn something. If nobody understands your question then maybe reword it. We are not you and do not know exactly what you're wanting. All we have to go off of is what is typed on our screens. In your proccesses of figuring out how to do this, what wires to use, etc etc, you may share it with the FTE community and others can benefit from it as well.

Relax and stay a while.
X2 on that.

Jim.... everybody...

What Dave wants to know is where he can cut the wire that powers the headlights/running lights to wire in the relay. He already knows how to come off of accessory power.

I'm sure someone here has done it because it is a great idea if you are forgetful like me

To cut off both the high and low beams with one relay, it would have to be in the wire between the headlight switch and the dimmer switch under the dash.

In fact to get both the parking lights and head lights it will take two relays if I remember right.

I believe that is correct. But couldn't you run both the parking lights and headlights through one relay? I may not be visualizing correctly... I'll probably be looking into doing this at some point since there would never be the possibility of leaving lights on if you remove the key.

a lil off topic, i have keyless entry, it turns the dome light on when the unlock button is pushed... so with the help of a few dioeds, i wired my running board lights and 'under front bumper lights' to it. wen in a dark parking lot, i hit the unlock button and my truck lights up like a christmas tree. iam about to add the roof light to this. and they still come on withe the rest of the running lights
