91 4x4 transfer case
i'm looking at swapping a 351, to repalce the 302 in my truck can i use a aod in place of th e4od?(i'm looking at a carbbed engine), will the transfer case and axles i have now work? or will i need a different transfer case?

hey thanks for the info, its gonna be great to smoke the tires on this(just kidding) i'll really be glad to get the pulling power i want. too bad i upgraded the e4od two years ago

well, i guess i got hosed, hosed myself to be more truthful. i checked the tail piece bolt pattern from the aod and the e40d and guess what? no way on this earth that it'll fit, i was told that all i had to do was remove the tail piece and the aod would bolt up to the bw 1345 transfer case i have, well back to the wreckers tomorrow morning to see if i can find a aod from a 4x4. hope so.
