ARGGGGHHHHH.......

Up until yesterday had 15,000 trouble free miles. Not so much now. I drove my truck to work all was well. Went to start it later in the evening and it felt like it was running on 4 cycl, spewing smoke out the back, and I could smell the unburnt diesel.

So, now it is going to the Ford dealer to see what's wrong. At least it threw a CEL.

Anyone else have a similar experience? Just want to know what it could be.

Truck specs: 2008 f-250, 15000 miles, oil changes every 5k miles (dealer has done all maintenance), except I was planning on taking it in for an oil change in the next week. Completely stock.

Obviously an over fueling condition. Maybe a stuck injector?

I had a very similar issue almost a year ago. Turned the truck off and let it set for couple of hours. Restarted and the truck ran just fine. Ford serviced with updated flash and no issues in the past year.
