The DRW axle housing is 4" wider than the SRW axle housing.
Also the front axle has spacers or different hubs so you can use the same wheels on all four corners.

lmao! these guys are a big help tonight hey cp.

first.ford only offered the dually on f350's.
however the D50 hubs and D60 hubs are interchangeable.

the front-there are dually hubs, which basically stick out so you can run the dually rim on the front.
this way they match, you can do simple full tire rotations, and only need to carry 1 spare tire,or none at all like me lol.-id have to pull a rear wheel off the back, should i have a front blow out,and limp home.

the rear axle is wider so both wheels fit without hitting the leaf springs.

the bed of course,is what you see easily.kinda goes without saying, has large flares to cover the tires.

thats the basics between SRW and DRW "pickups".

from the factory, the little sticker on the door jam would tell ya you could haul more than the srw too of course.

edit,
oh i type slow.didn't see Daves post yet.

who knows, maybe Dave and I were over-thinking it,and you were just asking about the abbreviations after all. lol i dunno.i guess we all got ya covered one way or the other haha.

Any 60 up to 97 will have the correct lug spacing.
92 was the year they switched from king pins to ball joints.

You may even find a yard that would swap you even.
