Yet another sad tale...

... all stock, but apparently to much power..

Side roads were snow covered. Main highway was clear. Crazy 5 PM traffic. I put the diesel in 4x4 high. hold the brake, bring the rpm up.

see the hole in traffic coming, BAM off we go. get out on the straight kick in in 2wd off we go, right to the rug from the stop.

Get down the road, notice a clunk coming from under somewhere,

pull over, check it all out, evertthing seems good, U joints-drive shafts bla bla..

Decided I had better take it home, Turn around, being easy on it

Right rear tire locks up, and im not 100% sure that it has 4x4 now...

Man..... .never ends. Im fixing it and selling it........ I think

Right rear locked up, maybe rear end messed up. unhook rear drive shaft see if front end will pull it. or if anything turns up front. if its just right rear i would bet brakes. pull rear wheel off check brakes. I dont think its the transfer case. they are stout cases, you would have to something really bad to screw it up.

Yeah, my buddy thought it could be brakes also. I'm doubting it because of the banging that was going through the floor * shrugs* Gonna work on it saturday and see what happens.

im gonna guess that full throttle blast up the on ramp had that wheel spinning and it probably hit a dry spot and slowed down really really quickly. im thinking you have a screwed up rear gear assembly
