Ford Rangers need help
Hello all I have a few ? My friend has a 89 ford ranger with a 4.0 and 5 speed tranny tannt went bad & I find one I think its early 90's ford ranger with a 3.0 and 5 speed want to know if the one behind the 3.0 will bolt up behind the 4.0 thanks for the help some say it will some say it won't I want to know be4 we buy it thx again

No...........3.0 has different bolt pattern.
2.8,2.9,4.0 share same bolt pattern. You need another 5spd (m50d-FM146?) that was behind a 4.0.
