transmission swap
i recently bought a 86 F - 150 300/6 cyl and it has the Izuzi (spelling may be wrong) 3 speed with overdrive. i really like the tranny and am curious if this trans. will swap in to a 66 300 -6 cyl. did the bolt patterns for the bell housing change in this 20 years?.if this swap will work maybe i'll be able to drive faster than 60 MPH. the 66 is a 250 4 WD.doing drivelines is not a problem. i would hate to tear it all apart just to find out if it'll bolt up.
