1997 purchase
Hey guys, I'm from over in the 99-03 forum and have some questions about the 97 model.
My dad is looking to buy a 97 and I was just wondering what the common problems and issues are. In specific he is buying a drw, 2wd, crew cab, long box. Any help in this matter is much appreciated!

No real issues that differ from your Superduty really. I'd check driveline front to back, look at the turbo wheel for dusting, basically the same things you'd look at on yours. Just the 97 has a better body..
