Would a March build on a 6.0 'o4 be considered a early or late build? Pretty sure I need to replace the ICP sensor on my truck but not sure if the part is the same.
If the ICP is under the turbo near the fire wall, as shown here, you have a early build.
If the ICP is in the right valve cover, as shown here, then you have a "late" build. (bottom of the picture, red/orange thing under the hot turbo discharge pipe)
Got the parts and will attempt the fix tomorrow when I have a little more time. Yep, valve cover is right. I take it the new harness is a splice off of the old, am I correct? Also why do Ford dealers have varied pricing on these parts? I went a little farther and got the set-up for almost $50 less. Seems weird.

LMAO--don't even get me started on parts pricing. It's kind of a sore subject for me.
Just curious, but why are you replacing the ICP? They don't often go bad on the later model trucks, at least that I've heard. Any particular code?
2285 is what I have gotten. The light comes on, stays for a couple days and the goes away(emission light). Then will come back on again, really hard start this am like I've never had before.

Yep, I had that code too and the new sensor fixed it.
It just screws into the pump cover. I am thinking that you could run a hard line from the pump cover to a spot under the degass tank, and extend the harness.

It would have to be a damn good hard line. Remember it has to withstand 4000 psi. That would be readily doable though with a little research. The replacement plug-ins come with a fair length of wiring IIRC.
