Wiper arms lost pressure

My wiper arms no longer sit on the windshield with very much pressure. The drivers side isn't quite as bad as the passengers side that barely touches the glass. Is this something that is easy to replace or tighten? Thanks

Is this something that just started or has been getting progressively worse in the last year or so?

If it just started, then I have to ask, did you just recently wash your truck while the weather was below 0C(32F)? I've found that sometimes water will get on the wiper arms/springs then freeze, preventing proper contact with the windshield. If this is the case, simply warm up the truck in a parkade or use a blow dryer and melt the ice.

If washing the truck and the weather had nothing to do with it, maybe it's time for new springs on the wiper arms...

It's been getting progressively worse the past few years. I was looking at the springs and wondering if I could just replace them. I'll give that a try. Thanks

Never heard of anyone selling the spring's seperatly. I had the same problem on my 92. I just bit the bullet and bought a new set.
