I have a 94.5 with the 7.3 powerstroke and a 5 speed and 125k on it.The other day I left my house got about 2 miles and the cel came on and it died and would not restart.Opened the hood and the first thing that I noticed that one of the big wires on the glowplug relay was smoking(the one towards the front of the truck).I scanned it and it threw these 2 codes.P0340 cps and p1211 icp.can anyone point me in the right direction before I just start throwing parts at it?
TIA,John

Glow Plug Relay is controlled by PCM and the ignition key to the on position.
Check your fuses under the hood to start. Other's will chime in, but do you have access to a loaner PCM?
check fuses for sure. How about the wiring going to and from the relay. Is there a rub short somewhere. This could smoke things big time if the fuses didn't pop! Some others will chim in shortly.
