Leak from Hydroboost system
Is there a concern with a hydroboost leak on the 89' F450 with the 7.3 IDI.
Below my engine is drenched with hydraulic fluid and I'm losing fluid from my power steering pump. Not sure if it is the pump or somewhere else. Just checking for any common concerns before I undertake the messy task of cleaning out all that oil to look for the source of the leak. Thanks.

You would be as well to clean everything off and have a good look for the leak. If you run out of fluid you will either lose power steering or power assist brakes or both. My guess is that it would not be good to have manual steering and brakes on an F450.
Check the hoses for leaks and the pitman shaft on the steering gearbox.
If you are lucky it might just be a hose fitting needs tightened.
