thanks to gangstakr. there was a small issue with the grille and he compensated me, then i went out and had it repaired and i finally got it all installed and i am very pleased. them california grilles do shine. robert does a great service.
Thanks Dave. I'm glad everything turned alright. Your truck looks great. Need a picture outside from a little further distance. Showing off your truck as well as the grille.
Looks like you had it polished (ie anodization buffed off). Looks good -- that's what I did to mine as well. I put several coats of Mother's aluminum polish on mine before I installed it. Still looks perfect, I was a little worried that it would fade or discolour...
nice looking grille do you have any before pics? i agree with gangstakr if you can pull the truck out some to have more of the truck showing with its new grille.
no i dont have any pics crazed. but the grille that was on there before was in real bad shape. crooked, dented, and missing a headlight bezel on the driver side.
gangstakr, the truck is raven black, with just my luck black shows the most imperfections. the body is really beat up and is going to have to be totally redone. i only want quality paint that looks like a mirror, and body work that is laser straight that will last me 20+ years. i wouldnt be able to settle for a earl shieb special. the biggest problem right there is paintjobs like that start at 5-10 grand. and thats a horrific amount of money for me to spend. so therefore i think the body is going to be the very last thing i do. and then the single most pain in the neck thing there is about fixing up an old vehicle, is that every improvement you make just causes all the rest of the flaws to stick out like a sore thumb, and its like as if sky is the limit when it comes to this stuff.
i mite be interested in the grill, if it is bent up that dont bother me just as long as if there is no bad parts as in tears or missing pieces. but the pics i do see of it looks like it is fine to me pm me a price if you want to get rid of it

i think we are not on the same page here. my grille was a 69 with the red stripe and ranger emblem with that red strip crumbled away, and the ranger emblem missing, the grille looks like it was run over with a train. and missing a headlight bezel. if you want that grille then sure be my guest, lol.
That's the problem with Roberts grilles...they look so good, you realize the rest of your truck needs to be restored to be at par!
He's a real artist...I think for Christmas, I'm going to buy him a beret.
Hello???
That is a show quality restored Original Ford grille...which was hand polished and restored to look like that. You'd be
hard pressed to find ones that look as good.
