Awesome Head Unit
I just purchased and installed the Kenwood Excelon KDC-X794 from crutchfield and installed it in my 2002 SD. I am extremely impressed not only with the feature set and connectivity with my iphone, but the sound quality out of this unit is fantastic. I have the stock speakers in my crew cab and it was a night and day difference between this unit and Ford's OEM 6 disc unit. The Kenwood has almost every option for fine tuning imaginable including speaker size adjustments. If you are looking for a new fairly inexpensive head unit I would definitely check this one out.
