In my restoration of my Bronco, I had an original C6 Transmission, but I am trading with a friend my C6 for his T-18 out of his 78 Ford F-250, but his is 2wd, and as we all know, the Bronco is 4x4..
Now, I have seen diagrams and pictures of the 4x4 T-18 Transmission, as well as pictures and diagrams of the 2wd T-18, and also in person, it looks to me like its just a change the tailshaft and maybe a few components, could anybody verify this, or if I am totally wrong, let me know
The output shaft on the trans might be different (splines, length, etc) Better off picking up a 4wd T18, T19, NP435 from a pick n pull. Just my 2 cents.
