tranny slip
i have a 94 f150 2wd aith an auto 5.0. one dat driveing my accelerator stuck to the floor and it was a simple fix however now 2nd gear slips when shifting in auto. when i shift manualy through the gears it acts fine. also while driveing and i accel to passing gear it will slip then when i let off the pedal a lil bit it will grab normaly. it brings up a check engine code that the # 3 vavle is sticking. looking through my repaor manul it covers nothing on the tranny. how complicated of a fix is this and any suggestions or help would be apprechiated. i would hate to take a change of haveing to replace with a junkyard gamble thanks

its an e4od i think. and i cant afford to take it to the shop. i dont remember the code number but it did say a vavle was stuck on it, just wondering if this would be a easy fix once the trans was out or if i would have to take the trans complaetly apart

You can count the trany pan bolts to find out exactly what trans it is you do have and run the self test to get that code again.
