Can? Some one help me out? My 78 F-150 4x4 with a 400 auto trans short bed. Pops when put in reverse. I had the ring and pinion replaced about 10,000 miles ago. I had the u joints replaced about 1500 miles ago, along with the right front joint on the wheel. It pops when put in reverse?? Any Ideas???? Thanks

Where does it sound like it's popping from? Could be transfer case chatter. Could be a bad u-joint, regardless of how new it is.
