Remote Starter
I purchased a 2004 Ranger. After a while noticed it has a Ford remote starter installed. I didn't get the fob and can't get it. Is there anyway to tell if the remote starter is working before trying to buy a new fob

I doubt that you have remote start, you might have remote entry. The dealer should be able to get a replaacment FOB.
