2004 F150 tires to get?
#16
The best advice I ever got was to check out tirerack.com. there is tons of information there. Here is a link to a tire survey.

It really depends on how hi you want to be...i have 285/65 18's on my truck and they measure out to be 31's I dont have a lift on my truck and the turning radius sux - about 20% less - its ok as long as you get used to turning a bit wider. with 16's you may be able to get by with 31's, lift it 2 inches and you should be able to go with 33's it really depends on how much you want to spend on tires too, if you can downsize your rims to say 15's you can probably put 33's without a lift and your tires will end up being cheaper too. I have a buddy that owns a tire shop and had they fit i could have gotten 15's with aggressive 31's cheaper than i can get a set of at's...lol lots of if's I know but it really all depends on what you like and how tall you want your ride and of course how much do you want to spend - hope this helps

I am also due for tires on 2005 F150 and found I will be putting on Cooper Zeon LTZ 285/60 18 XL (extra load) next week. I believe they are 4 ply. I found 4 installed and out the door for $770. I like the BF Goodrichs as well, but the price is a lot higher. The General Grabber AT2's I hear are good as well.
Good luck in your decision.

I believe I will stick with my 16's and run down to the garage and see some tires and what deals I can get and what will actually fit. I appreciate the responses, I would like my truck to be as tall as I can get it without a lift right now but I will be lifting it later down the road.
