Injectors

Wondering what the differences between our injectors and SD are, i know split shot and single shot, my main question is if our can be turned in for cores for SD's and they can be rebuilt to be SD's by swapping nozzles or something along those lines

if you are going to have injectors rebuilt, have yours upgraded to stage one or two. i think the SD injectors flow more than ours stock, but i dont think they can be upgraded much more

Our injector are 90cc and the SD are 140cc

What are you tring to do build injectors for a OBS or a SD?

it would most likely be cheaper to build yours than deal with the SD cause to run split shot in a OBS you have to have a chip or your PCM burned for splits

false sd are not just 140s, 99 were 90splits, 00-1 were 100s i believe and 02 were 120s and 03 was 140cc splits as well

our injectors can be modded just as far and extreme as the SD injectors, only difference is split shots fire a 3-5% fuel shot before full fuel for emissions and in turn leave a quieter combustion.

split shots if persude will need a larger high pressure oil pump, there a bit of pigs on oil especially the higher up you go on fuel. SD came with a 17* pump vs our 15* pump.

If they are single and don't have a half a million miles on them then go for it

False. Cali model obs and early 99 were 130cc and late 99-03 SD's were 140cc. All were split shots.

AB codes are around 120cc. AD codes are 140cc. stock obs AA codes are 98cc. Solenoids are the same for all of them, but the internals are different. The nozzles should be the same between all of them also.
