I have a fuel leak and its coming from the hard fuel line on the backside of the fuel bowl, is this the primary fuel line or a return line? Also, how should this line be connected? Mine only has a black hard rubber sleeve that is fitted over the hard fuel line and slides over the connector for the bowl? I would think there should be some sort of fitting but I have had the truck almost a year now and it has just started to leak, thanks!!

That is the drain pipe. is it leaking from there or the drain its self. the most common leak is the o-rings where the drain bolts to the bowl. It is an easy fix, just remove the 4 #20 torques screws and replace the two o-rings. Get them from clay at riffraff or from guzzels diesel o-rings. Hope this helps.

The line runs down the front of the engine but if it is leaking from the o-rings then it will go in the valley. You could just flip the o-rings until the new ones get there. That is what I did because where I park at work I got tired of cleaning up fuel every day
