Exclamation Replacement part difference

I installed a Sinister Diesel Blue Spring kit in my 2004 F350 with a Powerstroke 6.0 and noticed I had a stripped hole on the lower right of the bowl. Wasn't leaking, but i erred on the side of caution and bought a replacement bowl. The new part doesn't have the hole at the top of the channel for the little white plastic piece. Has this been deprecated or do I need to drill it to accommodate the little white plastic part? Not the original part above and the new part below. No hole to accommodate the orifice.

2004 6.0. I think it's a 2004.5. From what I've read, if this sensor is placed here it's a 2004.5
