Abendx Screen Name?
Never mess with rottndog -- he has all the time in the world to find, crop, modify, etc. pictures in an attempt to retaliate! I guess that happens when you can't spend time with your truck... so when is it coming back from the shop, anyway?
Maybe Friday.... But I doubt it!
Oh Well. Maybe the cold weather and snow will be gone by next week.

OH! By the Way! I got a PostCard from Forty Today.. Apparently he and the Triplets are on Vacation!!!

With so much time on your hands, you'd think you would fix the URL on the "PICS" hyperlink in your signature already!
The link should work now... Didn't know it wasn't!

Is it the new Edge parts that's bothering you? Didn't Donohue give you that Free lift you wanted? I haven't seen anything on the news about a fire in Efigy!
I know my truck or my gallery could never be as special as yours. But judging from the number of hits some like it. Maybe if I have some one take some pics of the truck with me doing my best eminem poses! Would you like it then... It sure would mean a lot to me....

To put things in perspective, I just wanted to see the pics so I could have something to laugh at! Seriously, though, it's the best looking bus I've seen so far. Take a sawz-all to the back & do some ventilating and it will look even better! Now if only the guys at the shop would give him the truck back already, he might even be able to use it!
In any case, I know how it feels to not have your truck around. Mine has been in the body shop for just over a week now, and wouldn't you know it, we've got a snow storm today. Just when I need it the most, I'm stuck waiting. As crazy as I am, though, I just drove for an hour in a Ford Focus during the snowstorm to check up on things... it should be ready to pick up tonight!
Oh geeze, here we go again... someone pass me a Kleenex.

That Story Actually Makes Me Feel Better!
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts

geez.... sorry, just messing with ya... no need to get all emotional over it.
Not At My Age! If I Squatted Down In Front Of My Truck, I'd Need A Couple Of People To Help Me Back Up!
Haroutd,

BTW, the Focus did pretty good in the storm, all things considered. I was passing all sports of sport-utes, 4x4's, trucks, AWD's, you name it on the highway. Knowing how to drive a vehicle is the most important part. I can make that Focus do things that some Sport Ute driver friends of mine would be too afraid to try.
I've always been the guy who everyone wanted behind the wheel during incelement weather, no matter what kind of vehicle I was driving. Ski trips -- let's take Harout's minivan! There's a blizzard and we want to go to the movies -- let's take Harout's Mercedes! Afraid to drive to work because of the snowstorm -- Harout can pick you up in his Camaro! Want to go clubbing in NYC and you're afraid of driving in Manhattan -- let Harout take you in his Jeep Cherokee! Now that I've got the F-250, I just tell 'em I'll take them any where they want to go, as long as they don't mind having their cars dragged around at the end of my towing strap! Gotta' do something to curb the "help" calls I always get. (Besides, I like dragging stuff behind my Super Duty; Jap-Crap cars make funny sounds when you're pulling them around.
)Now what made me go off on this tangent, anyway? Heck with it, I just fealt like ranting. Sometimes you just need to vent..... So what was this thread originally about? "Abendx" screen name? I always thought it was short for "A Bent D..." Oops.. forgot this was a family show. Well, you get the drift -- although it's more info on the guy any of us needed to know!

Some jerk pulled a hit and run on me. Dented the side of my bed pretty bad, and caused some damage on the rear passenger side door, too. They had to remove the entire side of the 8 foot long bed, and weld on a new one. The door was repairable, and the body shop did a pretty good job with everything. They even detailed my truck for free! In the end, the repairs cost over 2 grand, but insurance covered most of it. Since it was a hit and run, my insurance premiums don't go up, either. But if I ever find out who hit my baby like that, let's just say that I won't mention here what I would do in fear that it could be used against me in court.
