The ads are based on your browsing history, so its the proverbial pot calling the kettle black...
If that is the case then it probably is so. We were were watching the "Max and Al" commercials on powerstroke.org

I don't care about the ads, I pointing out the silliness of running ads for brand Y. You would think that someone would be smart enough to weed out those ads. Either way I don't care that this site makes money off ads. And no I'm not gonna drop 20 dollars to eliminate something that does not bother me. Apparently I am one of the few who see how silly it is to run an ad for the opposition. To the ones who see it and didn't Mindlessly jump in and defend the sites honor or tell me to drop 20 bucks I cheer you.

I'd think YOU would see the wisdom in making money wherever one can in order to provide a great website for free.Either way I don't care that this site makes money off ads. Do you complain to Fox News when they run ads for CNN? Or complain when an ad for an ABC show comes on CBS? And for something that doesn't bother you, you sure are pretty vocal about it.
Some one complained about getting **** ads on here once. So some of it has to do with yer cookies. Computer cookies that is. Chevs are okay. They make trucks. So did Studebaker and Hudson. I wouldn't buy anything new. Even Ford. After the mid 80's I think everything is junk.
I used to think like that too... of course mine was anything after '79 was not a truck. I've got a few more weeks left in 2010, and my ranger has piled on 44,000 miles as of today this year. I'll get a new one in January, but an F150 this time. Its still very strong and will last a lot longer, just that they pay me to buy a new truck, and I can't refuse that!
i think it is hilarious to think that chebby and government motors ads are run on competitors web sites.
just like it is hilarious when watching a country music tv station and they run a commercial for rap or hip hop music. are they really stupid enough to think that someone that listens to country is gonna stop the world to switch to that crap just because they saw a commercial??
