1987 F700
Looking at a 1987 F700 Schwalbe Custom Hauler. Owner says it has a Ford inline 6 brazilian made diesel engine with 5 and 2 trans. It originally put out 165 hp but this one is turbo to put out 210 hp. It runs 69 mph top end 26000 gvw, cruises at 65. If you change gears in rear end it will cruise 70-75. My question is I now pull 50 ft. race car trailer with 04 Ford 350 with 6.0. Will I be disappointed with the power of this truck? Truck is suppose to have 180,000 miles. Is this worn out or just broken in? I like the older look of this truck but do not want to be disappointed by lack of technology. I value your opinion-what do you think?
