Fuel pick up ?
On the 53 f-100 was the fuel line from the tank to the pump always 5/16? The PO had the 5/16 tank line connected to the fuel pump 3/8 fitting. Then 5/16 line out of the fuel pump connected to the 1405 edelbrock 3/8 inlet fitting. All done with 5/16 emission hose. 
Truck is a 289. Trying to see if i could do 3/8 out of the tank and maybe 5/16 inlet at the carb if they make that or look at other fuel pumps

48-56 Fuel lines from tank to fuel pump (9282) were all 5/16" for 215/226/239/254/337 cu/in
On the 53 the line from pump to carb on a 239 (1BA 9369-A) was 1/4" and on the 215 (EEA 9369-D), from pump to carb was 5/16.
All steel!
