Red face I hate waiting!

I just need to vent. I hate waiting for parts!

Im waiting on my EGR delete and new oil cooler. UPS does not come to my house until about 7PM. Hopefully they will both be here tonight so I can start putting it back together tomorrow/Sunday.

Anybody with me?!?! LOL

Threads like this make me wonder what happens to the packages that don't make it to their destination? Is someone else enjoying your EGR/Oil Cooler or whatever you have coming your way? Is it just in limbo?

What does happen to those packages that don't make it?

Just never know. I have seen some stories were there were little theft rings within UPS where the trucks would steal packages. Now those were like commercial printers/plotters, I think EGR/Oil Coolers might be a little safer, but in today's world, one never knows.

You hate waiting? You didn't mind waiting to order, did you? If you had ordered a week earlier, it would be here by now.

Just poking you, having a little fun. Patience is a virtue.

They end up on The Island of Misfit Toys

Or

Or some deserted island with Tom Hanks

Or

A warehouse in Kentucky.

Definitely...that's exactly why I have UPS bring my packages to work. They always come to their business customers first then residential.

I could do the same, but it wouldn't help, would just make me want to get out of there faster. LOL

Funny story about UPS. We had built a new home in a new subdivision. All the carriers like UPS, DHL and FedEx always seemed to have problems getting packages to our area.

Our neighbor came home one day and found a note from UPS on His door.

"Please come to UPS to pick up your package"

Reason?

"Unable to locate address"

His name and address was on the note, go figure!
