Everything on this looks like 41 but the grille, I do not recognize it. It fits perfectly but is dented up of course but I cant find anything that looks like this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't realize this would stump everyone so much. To add to the visual this truck had running boards and has the round pedastool mounted headlights just like a 41 ford one ton. Anyone? I have added more pictures if you click on the photo it will take you to a flickr album for viewing. Also found a serial number stamped in frame. This is what it looked like to me PB T8-6060248Y. Anyone? anyone?

It is definitely a 3/4 ton or larger truck hood. Is it a 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup (122 inch wheel base)? The only grills I can think of that looks similar are the 9N Ford tractors and the early Fergeson tractors. I think maybe some of the English Ford tractors had a grill that looked similar to that. I can't see a tractor grill fitting nicely thouh. Is there any indication of someone cutting the original grill up and welding this in?
After taking a really good look at the grille as you mentioned someone had cut all the vertical bars and welded in the diagonals. Whoever did it did a good job at it and you could tell it was done with a gas torch long ago. Sure had me going until I really looked hard at it. Thanks
