I've got two choices of wheels for my 82 F-150, i've got a line on some 02 factory take offs for a F-150. (which i imagine won't work.)
And i've got the classic Deep dish, white spoked wheel, that i've seen on just about any 70's F-150 running around town.
I'd really like to use the newer f-150's wheels and tires, but if it comes down to it, i suppose i could strip and chrome the other set of wheels i have, or just leave them white.
I'm not too big of a fan of adaptors, but then I've never used any of the quality from a place like here: http://www.justadapters.com/
I don't know anything about the newer style of Ford wheels, but if you need an adpator as a spacer they have 'em, and if you need a different bolt pattern then they may have them.
The bolt pattern up to '96 was 5 on 5.5 the new trucks are 5 and 135mm. They don't work. If you go to Summit they have lots of steel wheels, painted and chrome, for cheap. I got Chrome U.S. Wheel 15x8's for my '84 for $43.00 each.
