Front driveshaft length
My wife's friend's husband; has a 75 F250. It has a divorced transfer case, I have seen it, and a stick transmission. She says, my wifes friend, that the engine is bigger than a 400. I don't think so. Anyway; He twisted his front driveshaft awhile ago, and she wants to buy him a new one as a surprise present. She ased me to find her one. Q- If there was an engine swap would you need to relocate the transfer case? It's divorced, so it would make sense to me to change just the jackshaft, not all of them. I know all I need is a measurement of the old shaft, but I don't want him catching me under his rig with a tapemeasure. I wouldn't want to catch any of my wifes friends hushbands under my truck! So any thoughts?Thanx

This is a F150 not a F250 column!
Just relized this when I logged on to check post. LOL

P.S. wait..... this is a 73-79 ford column. Darn I'am dumb!
