Yeah, just like the ones I presented. The truck will look similar to the scout. The more I think about it the rhino line and black bumper and headache rack make it look enough black without the stripe. The stripe will be lots of work, more paint, and too busy. It certainly helps having a truck painted your school colors in the lady department too. A truck is money for that, if its the schools colors you are golden!

My lady doesn't like my truck. She despises it actually.
It's a 3-tone blue... Haha!
Nice truck! Looks almost like mine. I would say that you need to get on the rust pronto. Spray it all down, wait for it to dry then get that spray rust to primer conversion stuff before you have a big problem. Cutting rust is not fun.
I will order some rust sealant and get on that! It does need to be fixed before it gets out of control!
My truck is pretty awesome, my girl likes my 1967 Mustang though. If she didn't I think we'd have some problems! Haha
I was liking the black idea and keeping the blue interior!
What color should my accent lights be inside the cab?
Just a bunch of LED's, a few under each seat, Under the dash, ect.
That is one sexy car! Trust me get on that rust issue immediately your life will be better. Park in your drive way wash your truck real good spray out the undercarriage. Air dry it and then get a roll brush and put it on the wheel wells and any part that has rust. It will hold you over until spring. We don't run salt here but its amazing that just spraying your truck off every few days when you drive it in the salt prevents most of the rust damage. Same goes for mud which traps moisture. After its painted run some rhinoline where you see fit.
As far as gauge lights pull your cluster and then knock out a little filter piece, should be five and then run whatever 194 lights you want. I would pick blue being as your truck is blue. Bright white works too.
If I ever make it out to Indiana were gonna have to take that car for a spin! My dream is in a few years when the mustangs and challengers go down in price to get one.

There is snow on the ground now, so I'd have to have someone do it who has a garage.
Does the cluster come off with those, what? 4 screws? Is it pretty simple to get the gauges out?
I'll probably replace the stock cluster lights with LED's.
Maybe I could have a toggle switch that changes the LED colors from Blue to White.

Really snow doesn't matter for a wash down. Drying may be an issue but I would wash it at their house roll into the garage for a minute slap the stuff on and you would be good to go after drying it. I don't have my book with my but removing gauges is really easy in most cars I've done it on. Yeah its pretty much a must to run leds in it. Brighter, less current draw and just better overall. Just remember to pop the filters out, I learned that the other day from a more experienced poster here. Personally, I wouldn't mess around with a toggle for switching colors seems more hassle then its worth.

That'd be awesome, if you ever plan on coming down defiantly let me know! I plan on doing a T5 Transmission conversion and by the beging of summer have the rear differential rebuilt with higher gears and pull around ~350hp!
I'd also like to do a C-6 auto-transmission conversion on the truck and get it repainted by next winter.
Yep I am having an uncle paint mine. I've always wanted a Ford more so with the bailout and found a screaming deal and my uncle and I traveled 2 hours to get it in winter lol. He knows how to do everything and is an excelent painter. He had tons of people come and ask him to paint their cars. He took a few but more people started asking and he didn't want to do it all the time. My truck is gonna be a way to show me how to work on everything more than I know now, learn to paint better, and overall just be a better mechanic. Plus my uncle likes projects and getting out of the house and away from the wife, but shh don't tell her. I girl I asked out had a similar mustang, she shot me down, and I never got a ride in the mustang lol. Double burn
