throttle position sensor maybe?
So I've noticed that when I drive my truck hard or drive it for awhile that when I stop and put it in park its idle is higher then normal. Normal idle for my truck in park is about 800 rpms or so but lately its been at about 1000 rpms. When I rev it up it will drop back to normal. Also if I rev it up hard it will slowly drop and normally will do its high idle thing. So I'm wondering if maybe the TPS is sticking? Or going bad? Any ideas fellas?

Sounds like an IAC problem.

backprobe the throttle position sensor and put an ohm meter to it. i believe if its over 1 ohm its bad but thats one way you can test your throttle position sensor you just need to look up exact specs of this sensor
