Good Evening everyone. We are in Cal-Nev-Ari between Searchlight NV & the Laughlin turn. Boy what a long day. But we were blessed I was slowing down coming into Beatty NV. 115 miles north of Las Vegas & blew a trailer tire. No damage the I was going slow enough it didn't fly apart. Beatty is a real small town & I went to the tire shop in town that was Closed called the number on the door & 40 minutes later we were on our way with two new trailer tires mounted balanced etc. The price was reasonable also. Because on hwy 95 if any of you have traveled it you know getting a ST225x75x15 8 ply tire after you leave Las Vegas the next big town is Fallon about 380 miles north. On Sunday no less. So we felt very blessed.

I 'spect you must be getting close to Yuma, or will be there by tonight.
Joe, who knows about trying to find tires (and failing to) in the wastelands of Nevada on a Fourth of July evening a few years back.

We will be in Yuma tomorrow by noon. Just in time to get ready for this storm that is going to snow Bill in. It is suppose to get down to 35 in Yuma Thursday & Friday nights.
I have to say our 86 F250 4x4 has run excellent. I'm avg. about 6 MPG. It has been running strong. For a 460 I'm pleased with the mileage. After all towing a 32' TT about 10,000 with all our stuff in it. It is 7800# dry. I was trying to figure out how a new diesel @ $45,000 to $60,000 would of saved me any time or money.
