I went to the dealer today only to be told they wont give me the oasis report but they would show me some Certified F-250s... I really need one about to pull the trigger on a 05 KR 250 with the 6.0
Has this been a problem in the past? I was unaware if it has and i am sorry. I will immediately stop with the Oasis reports. I just didnt think there would be any problem with it. Im pretty sure my dealer will give them out upon request with no charge, therefore i didnt think it would hurt anything. I apologize once again for my lack of knowledge with this subject on this forum. But i am curious to why it is a NO-NO? Thanks for the heads up!
There used to be a specific area for oasis requests, but it was cancelled awhile ago. I am uncertain but I think it killed by FOMOCO . For a specific oasis report, I believe you need to be friendly with a ford service writer in person.

At one time, there was a thread in which folks could request and receive OASIS reports from some members here that were techs and had the ability to obtain them. A while back, Ford really tightened down their restrictions on the OASIS reports. As a result, FTE closed the thread and no longer made OASIS reports available through the site.
Since that time, several requests get posted in the general forums on a regular basis and get various responses from forum participants. Those that do run the reports, do so at their own risk when it comes to any possible repercussion from Ford.
Well dad gum. I was unaware of this i didnt know it was a problem. I am new around here so thank you all for the input. And thanks for letting me know so i would not get into any trouble. If there are any Ford representatives on this forum i will repeat that i am sorry and was completely unaware of this. Ford should make this aware to all techs and service writers so stuff like this does not happen. I will not be giving out anymore OASIS reports because of this. So please do not ask for me to send you one because it will not happen. But i am able to give advice or help with diagnostics or anything like that, just let me know if i can help. Thanks again for the heads up
I believe the information which was shown from the oasis reports quite a few times ended up being used in a negative way against ford.
For an oasis report, I showed up at the dealers service desk and simply just asked them. It was on the screen in a few seconds, and they even talked me through what was shown. It was simply whatever service or repairs were done prior at any ford dealership in the country. On the vehicle in question, on my behalf, the truck had somehow blown a rear axle 600 miles away while the owner was on a vacation and when it was worked on, they forgot to reinstall the rear sway bar links, and the sway bar was hanging without them.
