Yessir. Last night I got a call on a 2001 S10 4by, I'll be putting on a front clip and tailgate and repainting it in January. I still need to find time for the 38 or 9 Ford coupe and the 68 Camaro that is supposed to show up next week. Lots of work lined up in the near future too...early Mustang coupe for mechanical and paint, 70 or so Mustang convertible for a stripe job, 95 Mitsubishi Eclipse for an overall. There's one other but I can't remember what. This just might become my full time gig soon.
That's great Vern, I hope you make the most of the bonus. well, I'm off to play low man on the totem pole today here at work. i get to run deliveries and do some goofing off since my warehouseman is off duck hunting today.
My car illness is about to get the better of me, one of my high school buddies has a 69 Cyclone he's lost interest in, I know nothing about it except it is complete less some of the chrome trim and I have dibs when he decides to part with it. That's one long *** sentence. I'll just wait and see what happens with it if I ever manage to find time for my own stuff, buying it would be a fun decision.
Not a bad second guess, and you are right on the money. Are you a mind reader?
As far as a Cyclone, my first vehicle at 14 was a 1967 Red Mercury Cyclone white stripe GT with a 390 and auto on the center console. Dual hood scoops, bucket seats and a factory tack.
Bought it from my grandpa for $400 bucks, it ran like a scalded dog with its **** on fire.
I sold it like an idiot ($600) at 15 and bought a 67 f100 with a thunderbird 429, but that's
another story, and that started my Ford truck ownership.
And no it did look as awesome as the one pic I attached. Oh Bronco pics are a coming!
