Usually when there are changes made to the newer model, hence all new engines, that would make the 2011's irrelevant to the older models. Why keep them in the same group as the older trucks. As for feeling special, well that's gonna be a given once I'm driving around in my new truck, but not the reason for another folder in the forum!

I'm not sure I know what to say, but I don't think I like it. Seems traffic is just starting to pick up here... but its not my decision either. I see your point with the new engine line-up, but what else will be changing?

The 2009's and 2010's should have not been lumped in the new F1C/F1E line. They should definitly be part of the F12/F02/F14/F04 (2004-2008) product line. The 2011's should have been the first F1C/F1E's.
There's nothing "new" about a 4.6L 2 valve, unless it's 1990 again. And it's not like Ford "goes" by body redesigns. The 1980-1986, 1987-1991, and 1992-1996 1/2 were all F15/F14's.
