C4 auto tranny high gear problem
Hi all
I have an '87 F150/ 4bbl carbureted 351 sm blck/ C4 Auto Tranny. The tranny isn't going into high drive suddenly. Connections and tranny fluid are checked and good far as I can see.
When cold, tranny selector in "drive" position on the selector, tranny isn't going into high drive but is fine in 2nd drive.
When the tranny warms up, gear selector in "drive", tranny is slipping and no high gear. Putting the selector in 2nd drive eliminates the slipping. Any insight for me for what I'm looking for?
