Recommend gauges anyone?

Well right now I'm in the process of replacing my oil cooler and egr delete due to puking and white smoke.

I would like to start monitoring temps and stuff.

Can anyone recommend a good set? Or maybe one that does it all?

Thanks

+1 scangauge2 @ autozone.com

You "might" have detected/prevented the Oil/Exhaust cooler failure(s).

Then add the sensor and separate analog gauge for Fuel pressure
to make sure you aren't starving the injectors under certain conditions.

I like my edge insight gauge. You can change it to show what you want.

I got everything apart now. I decided to just go with a egr delete to prevent any problems in the future. I'm going to wait until I get the oil cooler to separate the cooler from the housing. Kinda anxious to get this back together to see how it will be. Why did you decide to it?

And thanks everyone else. I think I'm going to look into the edge and the scan gague

wulfman, which part are you welding? I do have a welder and I can do that also, and return the kit I bought....

If coolant is still going through it could the problem happen again?

Hey ps 90, the egr cooler ends that exhaust exit and enter get closed up. This means you have to weld stainless steel. I weld also, have hobart mig welder but i would have to put in stainless wire and not sure if i have the right gas. My friend builds hot rods and has TIG welder i will let him do it . But once it welded shut it is pretty much a water line. my cooler was not damaged, but i guess it wouldnt mater if it were leaking as long as the plugs do not leak, it would be just a big resivior. then you can either put egr valve back in or make a plate to seal the hole.

Seems to easy?

Ohh. Alright that's the end that like slides into the manifold?

And after both of those get welded it's deleted? Please take pictures. I'm curious to see how it comes out
