I store my 95 Centurion PSD in winter and use my gas Excursion. I always fill the tank and put in an additive. What I want to know is: last year I stored it face in to the back wall of the garage and when time came to get it out, the batteries were dead. I figured they were 8 years old it was time to replace them. I also bought a battery "tender" to keep a slight charge for winter. How exactly do I hook the tender so that it keeps both batteries charged for the winter. I am in PA.

Hook it to one battery ,it will "tend to" both ....
Although essentially you're all correct, it's best to isolate each battery for proper charging.
However, if you can FULLY charge each battery seperately, then connect them and use a tender it should work fine.
